Oak Alley Plantation<\/h2>\n

Built in 1837-39. It is famous for its\u2019 alley of 28 evenly spaced Live Oak trees, believed to be at least 100 years older than the big house.<\/p>\n

During the approximate 40 minute tour, enjoy a professionally guided tour of the “Big House” conducted by guides in period costumes. Photography is not allowed inside the mansion.<\/p>\n

Laura Plantation<\/h2>\n

Built in 1805. Let Laura Locoul’s “Memories of the Old Plantation Home” transport you into the lives of 4 generations of this sugar plantation’s Creole men, women, slaves and children.<\/p>\n

Laura is an active sugarcane plantation with a tour that lasts up to 1.10 hours. The tour is a complete visit of the entire grounds and slave home with an in depth history lesson.<\/p>\n
